Fatima Mata National College marches into the 21st century under the able leadership of its scholarly patron, Rt. Rev. Dr. Stanley Roman, the Bishop of Quilon, who considers his Alma Mater the pride of his possessions and the gem among the educational institutions under his stewardship. As Principal from 1988 to 1996, he was instrumental in shaping Fatima College into a centre of quality education, instilling a sense of discipline and streamlining the functioning of the various departments with a vision to improvement in both quality and output. His single-minded devotion to the college continues to this day, as proved by his keen interest in the affairs of the college and active intervention in times of need, as also his physical presence on important occasions on the campus. |
