            The Department offers three-year graduate and four-semester post-graduate courses in Economics. There are currently two batches (one exclusively for girl students) for degree; and one batch for post-graduation. The Department of Economics is an approved research centre affiliated to the University of Kerala, with three registered guides, under the stewardship of the Head of the Department, Dr Thampy Mathew. The Centre admits Ph.D. students either on full-time or on part-time basis. The Centre has every facility to conduct systematic studies in Economics and related areas of study.
