One of the earliest to be started, the Department of Economics has maintained steady progress over the years. Post graduation, introduced in 1965, has helped the Department to achieve gradual and sustained growth. With its elevation to the status of an approved research center in 2005, the Department of Economics maintains its trajectory of progress.
