The College boasts of two mixed battalions of the NCC – an army wing with a strength of 107 and a naval wing with 50 cadets. The aims of the NCC are to create a human resource of organized, trained and motivated youth, to provide leadership in all walks of life including the armed forces, and to be always available for the service of the nation. Activities of the NCC include parades, training camps, social service, awareness campaigns, adventure activities like trekking, para-sailing, and water-borne activities like boat-pulling, sailing, kayaking and wind-surfing. Recruitment
is completed at the beginning of the academic year.
